Lawyer Mary Clarkson of Houston agreed to help the Studio prosecute Andriola, but she has perhaps been intimidated by Thom Andriola and now refuses to return phone calls. She made one trip to New Gallery to retrieve a few remaining paintings and was paid $14,000 in artwork for that one trip; no word has come back from her about the rest of the stolen works as of Dec. 2011.
